As anti-semitism continues to rise, Holocaust awareness seems to decline and as the reality of the Shoah becomes more remote, there is no more powerful and impactful way to preserve the memory of the unique nature of its evil, nor to keep the vow of “Never Again” than through the personal testimony of those who endured and against all odds...survived!
 
Once again we will read aloud the names of Holocaust martyrs, preceded by words of remembrance from our clergy and the lighting of 6 memorial candles. This year we will also screen the acclaimed 1995 Academy Award winning documentary short film One Survivor Remembers, in which the horrors of the Shoah are recounted through the words and story of a woman who lived it and survived it. Join us to read these names yourself. Stay to listen and reflect. Add names from your personal remembrances. Friends from throughout our community will take part with us to read the names of the Righteous Among The Nations. 
 
And as the names of those whose lives and futures were torn from our people and our world echo in our sanctuary, join us … to Remember!
