ABOUT US

We first came together in 1975, meeting in a local church, and were practically pioneers in Northern Palm Beach County. In 1983 we had a membership of 150 families, and dedicated our current facility on Hood Road. At that time, we began our Religious School programming, developing a wonderful faculty with a marvelous educational program. We now have a membership of approximately 350 families, with outstanding religious school and preschool programs. We continue to be the only conservative congregation in Northern Palm Beach County.

Religious education is the cornerstone for our children. Our preschool, which opened in 1986, is recognized as one of the finest in Palm Beach County. There are stimulating programs for children 12 months to 4 year olds, along with the summer camp for 2 to 6 year olds. The preschool provides a warm and nurturing environment, where children can make friends and grow. 

After preschool, children join our Religious School program whose mission is to inspire each learner through dynamic Jewish learning and living; providing them with the tools to guide their daily lives according to Jewish values and create their own Jewish memories. We fulfill this mission by making learning: Joyful, Personalized, Experiential, Relational, Mastery-Based and Collaborative.

As we look forward to the future, we are confident in our ability to grow and serve our community. Young families, singles, as well as mature and senior adults from differing occupational backgrounds, partake in the comfort and joys of synagogue membership. Looking ahead, we wish to build upon the proud legacy of Conservative Judaism and to make Temple Beth David a second home for all congregants.
